I haven't had much involvement in Odyssey for quite a while, and therefore don't know much about it. If you are working on or know of a version in development or that has been released, post links here.

Wow man this is an old ass site well anyways there has been alot done to odyssey since you have been gone. Im not sure if you remember the player created registry but that is now hosted under steverino at www.deadkitty.org/odysseyremote(battlebob) made a gay little version that is now at www.odysseyclassic.comI am currently working on a version. I do not have an official site yet but its going very well and I will release it soon. there have been numerous others between since you left and now but thats whats going on now. |

Ah, I haven't heard much about it in a while, at one point I was hosting the registry, I'm not sure who's doing it now. I also had worked on my own version at one point, but didn't end up finishing it... actually as I recall I had remade it numerous times from scratch, lol... should post some screenshots of what I had... was nice. Had scrolling maps, and at one point had the combat system partially implemented  . Is your version still done in VB? Let me know how your version goes... would be nice to see something new . |

Hopefully within the next week I'll get back to it a bit and post a couple more screenshots.... the gui isn't anything too appealing... just a window of 11x11 tiles that scrolled with quite a few more layers than ody classic... and actually my most recent attempt used half tiles for movement.... instead of one movement being two steps, its only one. http://odyonline.net/misc/ody.zip

A version I had been working on at one point, seems like there's a lot of unfinished versions kicking around, and some running in some form or another . I've rewritten mine so many times its disgusting, lol, but it was pretty cool, did have the scrolling maps pretty much down, was really nice to see working. |

Odyssey Redemption was something Unknown and I worked on a long time ago. Now at the present, Remote's Odyssey at www.odysseyclassic.com is still up, and Senatious has his own server at www.midvalepk.com. Also, Unknown and I are working on a new client now at www.ody-online.com. Rumour has it Smithy is working on something new with no website yet, but is in development. Also, Steverino has been gone for awhile. |
