To anyone who still checks this forum, I just wanted to anounce that I'm workin on a new version of Odyssey. It's called Evermore. I just got bored with Classic and Midvale, so I decided to make a new version. This will be my first time creating something with this engine, so probably not any mind-blowingly gnarly features, but a wider screen, day/night, rare monsters, and secret classes to name a few. I can't say when the beta will be out, but hopefully by the end of summer. I won't have a website or forums until I release it. Here's some screenies:

The following disables ngStat logging serverside, which means there's no directories to clean out, as well as map switches should be a bit faster.

Odyssey Redemption was something Unknown and I worked on a long time ago.
Now at the present, Remote's Odyssey at www.odysseyclassic.com is still up, and Senatious has his own server at www.midvalepk.com. Also, Unknown and I are working on a new client now at www.ody-online.com. Rumour has it Smithy is working on something new with no website yet, but is in development. Also, Steverino has been gone for awhile. |
